As Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Rory empowers clients to take charge of their financial future. After working for a variety of firms, he recognized a growing need for truly tailored client strategies and establish ZEA Financial. As a planner and coach, Rory utilizes his coaching and sports management background to help clients realize their full financial potential. In addition to developing the next generation of financial planners, Rory is driven to evolve the financial services industry into a more client-centric and innovative industry.
A graduate of Seton Hall University, Rory earned his BSB in Sports Management with minors in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies. While attending New York Law School, Rory entered the financial services industry as a Financial Advisor with AXA Advisors in Manhattan. After his promotion to Vice President in 2005, Rory transferred to the Long Island branch where he would enrich his expertise in Estate Planning and Protection Strategies. In 2012, Rory accepted a Managing Director position with Sentinel Solutions in New York City, and was quickly appointed Principal Director of Sound Wealth Financial Group in January of 2015 where he won the “New Agency of the Year” Award. Throughout his financial representative and wealth management career, Rory has received numerous industry awards and honors for his dedication to client and advisor success.
Actively involved in his community, Rory is a member of multiple organizations and currently serves on the board of his home owners association. Outside of the office, Rory enjoys spending time with his wife, Jaime, and their two children, Logan and Chloe.
